About VSF Corporation

VSF Corporation, Inc. is an Industrial Steel Fabricator located in Vincent, AL

(about 30 miles outside of Birmingham, AL). 

VSF has an experienced workforce consisting of approximately 35 Fitters, Welders, Grinders, Finishers, and CWI Inspectors who are experienced in the fabrication of plate steel for a variety of air emission control systems.

Including:

  •   Structural and plate work for large bag houses
  •   Precipitators
  •   Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) for power plants
  •   Gas fired boiler buildings
  •   Steel Mill buildings and bag houses complete with large duct work
  •   Large fan houses; Recovery boiler buildings
  •   Paper mills and Iron ore reduction plants complete with Duct Work and Stacks
  •   Processing Multiple Grades of Steel Including: A36, A572gr50, 304SS, 316SS, A242, A387, AR400, AR500, and much more.

 

VSF Corporation operates in the facilities once occupied by Shelby Steel, Inc., which include over:

  •   50 acres of land
  •   130,500 sq.ft. Fabrication Shop (7 bays with 3 overhead cranes in each day)
  •   45,000 exterior craneway (not covered)
  •   6,100 sq.ft. office and 2 Sandblasters for large duct work (up to 16 feet)

Equipment includes:

  •   10-0 x 64-0 Plasma Table with Plate Cutting Capabilities of up to 3”
  •   1/2 x 10-0 Plate Rolls (capable of rolling 20ft diameter)
  •   Drill Lines capable of 44” beams
  •   44-inch Band saw with conveyors; and other equipment able to handle Beams up to 735 lbs/ft.

VSF Corporation has a “sister” company, Vulcan Fabricated Metals, Inc. (d/b/a Daniel Iron www.danieliron.com) a leading structural steel fabricator in the southeast operating 2 facilities producing structural, mischellaneous and ornamental metal fabrication using state of the art equipment.
